Interesting article and a good example of how complex problems are simplified to find manageable solutions. Interesting that a lattice is used to model fluid flow. I'm reminded of a company in Tempe called PADT (located in ASU Research Park near the flexible display center). PADT has been working with Mil-Aero companies for many years and is the rep for the Ansys simulation tools for fluid dynamics, etc. Would it be helpful to look at those tools? White papers, perhaps?
